Monetizing X

Happy Sunday,

When I created Wise Philosophy on X my purpose was to make money.

I run a house and have a family to support so the financial challenges many of us face. Or maybe you’re a young person wanting to work for yourself and have the freedom to travel.

Having one stream of income is not safe or correct. Creating multiple incomes is always my focus and should be yours.

Once you have your WHY the discipline to show up every day should never be a problem. Now, how do we create an income on X?

Type of Account

What is the core subject of your account?

An important decision for two reasons -

You must enjoy the subject and have an income strategy in mind.

Philosophy is a subject I have read about since I was young and it is broad enough to cover many subjects. Also, a popular subject that can create interest quickly.

If you choose a narrower niche then you need to be providing a skill and a product to sell to your niche audience. Fitness is a good example of a niche you can sell a product to.

Content

Content is king.

Your account is set up now let’s post.

The biggest bit of advice I can give you - do not be boring.

Make your content interesting and engaging. Keep it original and authentic (do not lie). Polarising content is ideal.

Vary your content - text, picture quotes, long-form, video, short-form, and questions. Variety is interesting and will drive replies. Do not be all in on one form of content.

Set up lists on your X account to help with your daily content. The lists must include accounts that inspire you.

Spaces

Welcome to the strongest way to currently network and grow on X.

Want an engaged audience on hand to help with your growth on X?

Listen and TALK on Spaces. 

Be involved in this wonderful part of X. Host when confident but do not procrastinate.

I have hosted and co-hosted with accounts that would have never been on my radar if it hadn’t been for Spaces.

Spaces are better than DM’s as audio is the strongest way to network and get your message across.

Creating an Income

Now the important part - MONEY

On X I make money from coaching, affiliate marketing sales, and soon my own product.

I have a huge advantage in social proofing. I’ve been there and done it. I have a huge account. However, I still have a lot to learn.

I’m growing a newsletter and learning how to effectively scale up. I’m still a student and always will be.

This is my advice to you - do not chase the money. Grow an engaged audience and think of ways to sell.

A 1k follower account can sell a lot of products into a super engaged following.

Create your own product, offer coaching/consulting, and look at what other highly successful accounts are doing.

Giving people access to a Discord or Telegram group is a great way to create a community of content creators. You can sell to this group.

Disciplne

Creating a strong X account is not easy.

I have shown up every day since I started this account. I have not missed a single day of posting. This is not easy. You’ll feel like ‘taking a break’.

Post every day and make the content quality. Challenge your learning.

List of things to do daily to enable you to post quality daily:

• Read

• Write

• Mediate

• Exercise (4/5 times a week)

• Self Critique

• Sleep 7-9 hours

• Self-development (work harder on yourself than anything else)
