Making Money through Your X Account

Happy Sunday,

Is money a route to happiness, probably not, but it makes life easier.

I created an account with over 350k followers and an income of $10k+ in 2023.

Let me help you to monetize your X account in 2024.

Here’s your money ladder.

Step One:

Start.

Create an X account with a subject that interests you so your account is authentic and sustainable long term. If you fake interest in the subject this will shine through in a negative way.

Think about your account name, simple is best but catchy too.

Step Two:

Banner, profile picture, and bio.

Banner and profile pic need to match colour wise and give the same message that your account is worth a follow because it will benefit the reader.

Make both the PP and banner captivating and aesthetic. I paid to have mine done but AI imagery works too.

The bio I change all the time just because I can without losing my blue tick.

However, the following point is extremely important — whatever bio you write must be what your account will do for the reader. Include YOU and YOUR in your bio. The account isn’t about you.

Step Three:

Shadowban.

When you start a new account you will be banned at the start until you prove you’re not a bot.

A message will then show up stating your reach is back to normal. For the ban to be lifted send DM’s, reply to DM’s, post multiple times a day, and reply to other people’s content.

Step Four:

Follower to following ratio.

A new account can follow 10 accounts that are in your niche then as you build up your following keep the ratio algorithm friendly. 100 followers = max 60 following. In addition to the algo not liking a higher following than followers it also doesn’t make your account look like a content creators page if this ration isn’t balanced.

Step Five:

Starting again.

If your account is older than a year and you have less than 500 followers go back to step one of the money ladder. People will see your account as weak with a low follower count after more than one year.

Redirect your followers from your old account to your shiny new one.

Step Six:

Content.

Post every day and multiple times.

Study the niche you’re in deeply and read every chance you get. Your content will be what you consume.

Study storytelling deeply. Read many books a year. Watch podcasts and video all around your niche. You must be an expert. Read and apply to your timeline.

There is no right or wrong way to grow followers. Some accounts with 100k+ followers will just post videos or only long form. Try all the formats. Experiment and see what works. Enjoy yourself and avoid overthinking.

Step Seven:

Spaces and Networking.

Listen, speak and host in Spaces.

I enjoy Spaces as much as I do writing.

You create strong relationships and gain new knowledge in many areas. These relationships will help you grow, buy your products, and applaud your small wins.

Spaces are to share views and have respectful debates which invigorate and nourish your mind and soul.

Quality Spaces will exercise your brain and get involved with zero overthinking.

DM small, medium, and big accounts in a similar niche. Say hello and ask for help and build out your network. A loyal network who will reply and repost your daily posts.

Ask big accounts for help.

Get chatting on DM’s but get to the point.

An example of a DM to a similar size account:

Hello, your account is great!

Can we chat on Telegram as we are in the same niche and both starting out.

I believe we can help each other to grow.

My Telegram is…….

Step Eight:

Reply daily:

You need 5 million impressions over 3 months and have paid for a blue tick to be eligible for ad revenue.

Reply a minimum of 50 times a day to big accounts with tons of impressions and reply to accounts in the same niche.

The reply guy strategy is the quickest way to 5m impressions.

People give up if it gets tough.

You need to go in with the understanding your posts will get a tiny amount of engagement for a while. Be self critical and have a growth mindset.

Step Nine:

Income.

To create thousands in income these areas are where you will generate the money:

Ad Revenue

Coaching

Affiliate Marketing

Selling your own products

Copy writing

The income is possible with the right audience and your complete understanding of how important your mindset is.

Step Ten:

You’re an elite X account. On of the dedicated few who make a substantial income from an X account.
