First Sunday evening edition of my newsletter and already almost 20 subscribers.

For your peace of mind the newsletter is completely free and will be based on one part of X on a weekly basis.

My first gesture is a quick guide to optimising your profile page:

Try to keep the header/banner and profile picture a colour match. Keep the colours the same for both images. It’s attractive to the user’s eye.

This bio is about what the account can do for the user. Look at your bio is it more about you than the benefits to the user.

Try and include social proofing in your bio.

I’ve gained 340k followers in 12 months. If your account is over 6 months old and has minimal followers then start a new one. Users will think your account is no good if it’s old with only a few hundred following (this is probably not true).

Look at the followers compared to following. You’re a content creator keep your following very low. Your following should be 10% of your followers.

This appraisal of your profile happens in a few seconds. Get it right and you convert profile page clicks into followers.
